It has been said that there are "No perfect strangers on earth but only friends we have yet to meet". I was first introduced to Keith Kang from Motor Zone MZ through a friend of mine. Prior to meeting Keith and his colleagues Andy and Jack, my impression for a Parallel Importer as compared to an Authorized Agent is very much biased toward the latter.
On my very first meeting with Keith at Motorzone MZ, he came across as friendly but soft spoken. Prior to going to meeting Keith in person, I have actually spoken with him over the telephone with regard to the technical aspects of a car which he has recommended. Instead of having a lengthy discussion about the seriousness of my intention to buy the car, Keith requested that I visited the company website to know more about car including Motorzone MZ itself.
What came as a surprise to me was that Keith was more concern about matching the car with the right owner than just closing the sale. As much as I like the car which was recommended, he cautioned me against rushing into a decision. Keith suggested that I take a second viewing together with my family members so as to let each of them get a feel of the car – Fiat Bravo T-Jet.
On my second appointment (as suggested) by Keith, I was introduced to Andy and Jack. Both of them gave me the impression that closing the deal is something secondary at Motorzone MZ. The primary objective for the guys at Motorzone MZ was skewed towards building a harmonious customer relationship – the company's motto. Even my wife and son were impressed by their upholding and commitment towards such a clause.
To cut a long story short, Keith gave us ample time to consider the purchase after the second viewing and within the given time frame, he and his 2 colleagues had never followed up the sale with persistent calls to force us into a decision to make the purchase. In comparison with our experiences with many other Parallel Importers (especially at Automobile Mega Mart), the guys at Motorzone MZ really gave us the trust and confidence, which others don't.
People make people, and Keith, Andy and Jack at Motorzone MZ do make a difference when considering a Parallel Importer to place business with.
Warmest Regards
Mr Ng & Family @ Tampines, Singapore
Note: Bought the recommended Fiat Bravo T-Jet on 27 February 2010. Registration done on 17 March 2010.
